Moral thoughts

કલ્પના માં વાસ્તવિકતા હોતી નથી, વીતેલી પળો ને યાદ કરી ને રોવું શું કામ ?? ગમે તેવું અમૂલ્ય હોય, જે ખોવાય તેની કોઈ કિંમત હોતી નથી, (Imagination contains no reality; why cry over spilt milk (past), whatever precious that has been lost cannot  and does not have any value now) ------------------------------------------------------------------ જિંદગી મળવી એ નસીબ ની વાત છે, મૃત્યુ મળવું એ સમય ની વાત છે, પણ મૃત્યુ પછી પણ કોઈ ના હૃદય માં જીવતા રેહવું, એ જિંદગી માં કરેલા કર્મ ની વાત છે… (To be born and alive, is fate; to meet death is the question of time. But to stay alive in somebody's heart/mind after death is proof  of your (good)deeds) ------------------------------------------------------------------- માનવીની ઊંચાઇ તેના ગુણોને લીધે હોય છે,   ઊંચી જગ્યાએ બેસવાથી માનવી ઊંચો થઇ જતો નથી. (A man's high stature is as a result of good qualities, whereas he does not become great by just sitting on a high position) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- પોતાનાં વગર દુનિયા અટકી પડશે એવું  માનનારાઓથી કબરો ભરેલી છે. (The  grave-yards are full of people  who thought the world will cease existing without them) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ કોણ કહે છે ભગવાન ના ઘરે અંધેર છે, સુખ અને દુખ તો છે ઈશ્વર ની પ્રસાદી, બાકી તો માનવી ની સમજ સમજ માં ફેર છે.. (Who says there is no justice in the God's house-hold? Happiness and un-happiness both are just His blessed fruits; it is a matter of how we interpret the under-lying intention) -------------------------------------------------------------- જીવન માં એટલી બધી ભૂલો ના કરવી કે પેન્સિલ પેહલા  જ રબર ઘસાઈ જાય !! (Don't make so many mistakes in life that the "eraser" wears out before the "pencil") -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- સાચવવા પડે એ સંબંધો કદી સાચા નથી હોતા, અને જો સંબંધો સાચા હોય તો એને સાચવવા નથી પડતા.. (If you need to strive in order to maintain a relationship, then it is not really "true" -it is a falacy; and true relationship does not entail laborious maintenance) --------------------------------------------------- જ્ઞાની તે છે જે બીજા ની ભૂલો પચાવી શકે છે. (Enlightened one is the one who can accept/forget/forgive other's mastakes) ----------------------------------------------------------- વ્યવહાર નથી બદલાતા સંજોગો બદલાય છે, માણસ નથી બદલાતા ખાલી તેમના અભિગમ બદલાય  છે… (The rules of etiquette don't change, it is circumstances; the man does not change, it is their ............. that alters) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- તમારી જરૂરિયાત પૂરી ના થાય તો બની શકે કે તેની  જરૂર નહિ હોય !! (If your needs are hard to fulfill, then it is possible that there really is no need for them) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- દિવસ દરમિયાન જયારે તમે કોઈ મુશ્કેલી નો સામનો ના કરો, તો સમજ જો કે તમે ખોટી દિશા માં જઈ રહ્યા છો !! (If during the day-time, you are unable to surmount any difficult situation, then it is a clue that you are approaching it from the WRONG direction) -------------------------------------------------------------------- આ દુનિયા ક્યારેય પોતાની જાત ની સરખામણી બીજા  સાથે ના કરો, આમ કરવા થી તમે પોતા ની જાત નું જ અપમાન  કરો છો… (In this World, never try to compare yourself with somebody else;  doing that means that you are, in fact, dis-respecting yourself). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ કબીર સાહેબે પણ કહ્યું છે કે ……… બડા હુઆ તો ક્યા હુઆ, જૈસે પેડ ખજુર; પંથી કો છાયા નહીં, ફલ લાગે અતિ દૂર. (SAYING by Sant Kabir: If one grows in stature/size like the Date Palm, what is so great? It neither gives shade or perch to the birds; even if the fruits grow there-on, they are far too high up) ------------------------------------------------------ જયારે લોકો તમારી વિરુદ્ધ માં બોલે ત્યારે સમજ જો  કે તમે પ્રગતિ કરી રહ્યો છો !! (When others talk against your actions, then be assured that you are making progress) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- દરેક માણસ પાસે એક એવું મોટું કબ્રસ્તાન હોવું જોઇએ, કે જેમાં એ પોતાના મિત્રોના દોષો દફનાવી શકે !! (Every man should have such a big "grave-yard" so that one can bury all the short-comings of one's friends) ------------------------------------------------------------- જીવનમાં મુશ્કેલીઓ તો અનેક હોય છે. પરંતુ, તે દરેકનો એક રસ્તો હોય છે. અને એ રસ્તો એને જ મળતો હોય છે કે જેનો ચહેરો સદાય હસતો હોય છે (Life is full of difficulties, but the way to its solution is the same. For,  that path is only found by one who always carrys a SMILE)
